Beware of “Fakes”

“Fake is as old as the Eden trees”

Are you interested in Kickboxing or about it learn this wonderful art? then BEWARE, this one is for you. There are lots of Martial Art teachers who had a long history of teaching other art forms has suddenly switched to “Kickboxing” and that too with no proper knowledge. The reason is because they are trying to cash in on the popularity of the art which is spreading quickly. If you are an amateur or even an intermediate in martial art chances are there that you won’t be knowing the difference between Kickboxing and other arts and after enrolling your self with a fake master you will never get the real benefits of kickboxing and finally you may end up rating kickboxing cheaply or you will be convinced that you are a kickboxer.  So beware and check the history of your master and try to find out what the master is really a master at, enquire where he learned the art from?  I have met “masters”  who attend one week and one month camps abroad and comes back to India with a certificate and teach the art to complete beginners!! if you have the capacity to attend a one month camp and claim mastery over the art, which students generally take 2 years to masters, the guy should be a SUPERHUMAN. Watch out, even if you have a long history of being a martial artist, a brief visit to another martial art camp can only creates awareness, defiantly not mastery over the art.

Remember, there is more to Kickboxing than posing with a Boxing glove and lifting legs in the air! watch out, beware..
